Kimber here. Cuz Mom is going a little bit crazy. Well. I guess I should say crazier than usual. But it’s a good kind of crazy. The smiley kind if ya know what I mean.

Here’s the doggone lowdown on today’s PSA:

We’re overwhelmed. Requests for book reviews have been flooding in like a tsunami. We love it! But we just can’t keep up.

Mom and I, we read every single email. Personally. We try to respond to every request for a book review. (Unless we choose to decline. Then it goes to the Big Kitty Litter Box in the Sky.) But we know how hard you author humans work. How much time and effort you put into writing your magnum opus. (Mom’s word. I have no idea what that is. But it sounds good. Can I eat it?)

But like I said, we’re inundated. (Also Mom’s word. Another smiley kind of thing.)

So if you’ve contacted us to request a book review recently and haven’t heard back, it’s not cuz we’re hidin’. Or out chasin’ the cat. (At least one of us isn’t.) We’re just trying to catch our breath and keep our heads above review request waters. Okay?

So thanks for contacting us. We love hearing from you and will do our barkworthy best to keep up! But…

Temporary Closure to New Review Requests

To be fair to the huge stack of waiting-to-be-read books already in our review pipeline, please be advised that we will not be accepting any new requests for book reviews from today through September 30.

Hopefully we’ll be caught up by then, at which time we will re-open our review request queue.
