How many print pages did Mom and I read last month?
Three hundred pages? Five hundred? A thousand?
Not to brag here or anythin’, but Mom and I racked up some pretty impressive page totals for October. In fact, one of us is pretty impressed with herself.
Here’s the rough breakdown, in no particular order:
Gone With the Wind (our third re-read) – Margaret Mitchel: 945 pages Read it cover-to-cover in three days.
The French Illusion – John Grisham – 352 pages
She Couldn’t Look Away – K.L. Kaane – 401 pages
Increments of Fire in Judea – S.S. Lliteras – 301 pages
The Grapefruit Dish – Nancy Foran – 92 pages
Halloween at Raspberry Ridge – K.L. Kane – 373 pages
The Voided Man – Anthony Dean – 320 pages. Keep an eye out for our review! Coming November 4, Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise!
Controlled Access – K.L. Kane – 424 pages
The Adventures of Syd – Danielle Simone – 82 pages
House Twenty-One – Natalie Wren – 99 pages
The Girl from Devil’s Lake – J.A. Jance – 336 pages
Blindsided and Betrayed: The Journey from a Black Hole of Self-Pity to the Bright Hope of God’s Loyal Love – Judy Cocoris – 146 pages
Also some children’s books.
Grand Total Pages Read in October: 3,871
Not bad for someone who was on a first-name basis with Moses when the Red Sea was parted. And can’t find her reading glasses half the time (Hi, Mom.). Not bad at all.
