A BACON-WORTHY Review Request

Yea, verily. It takes a lot of work and a lot of time to run a bark-worthy book blog like Pages and Paws. Not that we’re complaining, mind you. Cuz we get to meet some of the coolest, most talented and bacon-loving peeps on the planet.

‘You gonna eat that?’

Every once in awhile we even get fur-prised. Well, one of us does. (Hi, Mom.) Like when some four-legged friends not only take the time to actually read and follow our Submission Guidelines, but also enlist the aid of their human authoroo to write a review request. Like the one we recently received from my new BFFs, Moose and Mae Bell. It delish! In fact, this is the New Bacon Standard of Official Review Requests for Mom and Kimber.

Moose and Mae Bell’s review request was so yummy, in fact, Mom says I can share it with you. In case you’re short on inspiration. Or bacon. Cuz this is just Too. Good. Ready? Great! Here goes:

Greetings, oh wise and wonderful Mom and Kimber!

We recently stumbled upon your p-awsome blog while searching for grr-eat book review sites. Your reviews are the pick of the litter!

So we’re reaching out on behalf of our human’s new Christian Non-fiction book, Forgiving Like God: A Conversation with Frank, an AI Persona. It’s a fur-ociously fascinating exploration of biblical forgiveness between an author and AI guide.

We just know in our canine hearts it would be a doggone great fit for your exquisite blog. We pawed through your submission guidelines and promise it’s squeaky clean with no objectionable content.

Here’s some quick deets:

  • Rated G
  • Target audience: Christians seeking spiritual growth and freedom from guilt and bitterness
  • Length: 100 pages
  • Genre: Christian Non-fiction/Spiritual Growth
  • Available in print, epub, mobi or PDF

We won’t beg like desperate puppies, but pretty please consider our request! <OOPS! We begged!> We’re happy to provide any format and will wait patiently for your royal decision.

Awaiting your response with tongues lolling in p-anticipation, Moose & Mae Belle Owners of a kind and Christ-following human named David.

Well. Who can resist that??!!

Not saying this review request will auto-result in a glowing review. Every book we accept for review is read and evaluated on its own merits. But when it comes to clever, creative, and catchy review requests, you may want to bone up on this one from Moose and Mae Bell. Cuz if there was ever a review request worth its bacon, it’s THIS one! Woof!

Love,

The Kimster
